CARE

If you treat your marimba well, it will last you for generations!

Here are some care tips to keep in mind:

It is a good idea to cover your marimba when you are not playing, to keep it dust free and prevent accidental scratching.

Only use a damp cloth or a micro-fiber towel to wipe down your marimba. Avoid any silicon based products, as they will ruin the finish on the instrument.

Keep an eye out when you move your marimba. It is a large instrument, so think about corners and other obstacles before you are in motion. If you have a height adjustable frame, be sure to raise the resonators to avoid bumping them into door jams.

We know that you know... but a marimba is not table! Avoid putting anything on your keyboard - drinks, books, mallet bags - and don't use it for a writing surface, as the bars may be scratched.

Treat it gently that it may play its best for you.

CASES

If you travel with your marimba, you will definitely want to have a set of Marimba One cases.

Made of Cordura and ripstop nylon, our roadworthy, wheeled cases keep your instrument protected and easy to move as you travel between gigs.

OUR MARIMBAS

Wood

Marimba One keyboards are made of carefully selected rosewood, and our frames are made from genuine mahogany and cherry. We don't use stains on our woods, only a clear finish to enhance and protect their natural beauty.

Resonators

We powder coat our resonators, an attractive look that also helps keep them fingerprint-free.

Hardware

All of our frame and resonator hardware has been custom designed to simultaneously maximize elegance and durability.

Planning for the Future

We build our marimbas with the intent that our children's grandchildren may one day play upon them!
