Peruvian Percussionist and teacher Diego Becerra understands music as an endless world of
opportunities. Currently working on the production of his first album for vibraphone solo and
collaborations, Diego is thrilled to release his original compositions and arrangements of Latin
American music to the world. Diego has performed at Davies Symphony Hall along with San Francisco Symphony members
on Steve Reich 80 Anniversary concert and he has also collaborated with Andrea Bocelli, Juan Diego Florez, Warren Wolf, among others. Diego strongly believes in sharing music to others and keeps a very busy studio between
percussion and piano students, including Skype lessons to other countries. His musical journey started at age of 13, talking piano lessons with his father Armando Becerra
Flores and he later started learning percussion with Alonso Acosta. Diego holds a Master of Music Degree from San Francisco Conservatory of Music being student of Jack Van Geem. Diego performs actively in the Bay Area with Vibo Simfani Band, other collaborations and solo performance.
