Our Marimbas

At Marimba One, we are pursuing an ideal sound for our marimbas: focused, responsive, resonant, and balanced.

Working with some of the world's finest percussionists and instrumental engineers, we have innovated new strategies in keyboard voicing, frame and resonator design, and developed several mallet series that are ideally suited for the marimba.

Every one of our instruments is custom made, and we offer an outstanding warranty. We want to make this your ideal marimba experience!

BARS and VOICING

We are passionate about creating the richest and most resonant bars that can be made!

We are the only manufacturer that not only tunes every bar by hand, but also voices every keyboard to create a unified and cohesive sound. Making a Bar Voicing the Keyboard

FRAMES

Our three frame styles are each carefully engineered and beautifully crafted.

They are simple to assemble, and built to last for generations. All of our frame wood is genuine mahogany or cherry, and is manufactured entirely in our shop.

RESONATORS

We use thirteen different sizes of round and oval tubing on our 5-octave marimbas.

We apply the same level of precision in our resonator tuning as we do with our bars. Our visually beautiful "s-curve" resonator lines mirror the beauty of their sound! Resonators

CASES

Our extremely durable and distinctive cases are made of Cordura and ripstop nylon, and come with wheels on the resonator and rail bags for easy transport!
