The Best Bass Sound - introducing the Basso Bravo!
Our design team has been hard at work the last several years, and we are thrilled to now present our new Basso Bravo resonators, featuring extraordinary bass end sound resolution and clarity.
The Basso Bravo strengthens the fundamental for each bass note, allowing the gorgeous lower tones of the marimba to project their clarity even during contrapuntal and multiple line compositions.
Spectrum Analysis of a "C2" Note (below)
Notice the strengthening of the fundamental in the Basso Bravo!
The Basso Bravo bass line carries clearly without sacrificing any of the warmth and color that define the Marimba One keyboard. With our new resonator innovation, bass notes won't overlap or "wash together" - so every mallet stroke is heard.
By focusing the fundamental of each note, we have created the most articulate bass sound available!

The Ivana Bilic Signature Mallet Series was developed to emphasize the singing characteristic of the marimba - relating the sounds of each mallet to human vocal qualities. Ivana's series consists of five wool/synthetic yarn mallets and one wool/wool yarn mallet; the wool yarn warms the sound, while the synthetic yarn provides articulation.
The Ivana Bilic Signature mallet line is a mid-weight series with six grades of hardness, and is newly available this fall in birch as well as rattan handles!
The Katarzyna Mycka Professional Mallet Series was developed to project maximum sound in orchestral and ensemble settings.
Each mallet is wrapped very tightly with two strands of synthetic yarn. This tight wrap, together with a heavier weight, produces an immediate keyboard response that is ideal for orchestral work.
Katarzyna's series consists of seven mallets in varying hardness, available in birch and rattan.
