Ivana Bilic Marimba Week 2009

September 27th-30th in Samobor... Croatian city of the arts!

Spend a week of marimba and vibraphone music with Marimba One artist Ivana Bilic, Emmanuel Séjourné, and friends, September 27-30, 2009. The seminar is intended for performers and educators of all ages and nationalities, and can be approached two ways:

Active participants will have individual and chamber music lessons with Ivana and Emmanuel. You can attend masterclasses, presentations and concerts and play at the Students concert. Be sure to attend the evening concert with Emmanuel Séjourné!

Passive participants can attend all lessons, presentations, masterclasses, rehearsals and concerts, and are invited to participate with thoughts and comments.

Registration forms must be completed no later than September 11, 2009.

About Samobor

Samobor is located in Western Croatia, 23 km to the west of the capital city of Zagreb. This long-lived city of the arts is famous for its hand-cut leaded glass (Samobor Crystal). Overlooking the Samobor main square are 13th century ruins of the Old Town, and the area offers bath resorts, parks and gardens, and museums.
