Jonathan Silva
Jonathan Silva is a Portuguese percussionist particularly focused on the vibraphone. After studying at Aveiro, Porto and Strasbourg Jonathan is teaching percussion and chamber music at Conservatório de Música da Jobra and working as a freelance musician in orchestras, ensembles and chamber music projects such as NoMad Duo and Apophenia Duo of which he is a founding member. As a performer Jonathan Silva is particularly interested in the development of new repertoire for the vibraphone and the collaboration with other musicians and artists from other disciplines as well as in the search for new audiences.
