Percussionist and Symphonic Conductor, with 12 years of experience in the interpretation and teaching of symphonic percussion; traditional and popular music. I have participated in concerts and recordings with groups such as the Orquesta Filarmónica de Bogotá, Orquesta Filarmónica de Medellín, Orquesta Sinfónica Simón Bolívar de Venezuela, Orquesta Filarmónica Juvenil de Bogotá, Curupira, Guafa Trío, Becuadro Trío and as a soloist with the Estudiantina Paipa, Banda Sinfónica Juvenil de Paipa, Ensamble Pa Sus Tres and Banda Filarmónica Juvenil de Bogotá to which I have been linked for the last six years
The most important interests in my career as a percussionist I have been concerned about expanding the repertoire for symphonic percussion; especially the Marimba. Therefore I have commissioned pieces and I have dedicated much of my time in teaching symphonic percussion instruments in Band, Orchestra and Chamber Music. As a Symphonic Conductor, my career has been focused on the diffusion and commissioning of pieces of Latin American music of erudite and traditional character. I am the founder of the A La Colombiana Orchestra and I have collaborated as assistant and occasional conductor of groups such as the Javeriana Symphonic Band, Symphonic Band of the Obra Salesiana del Niño Jesús, Camerata Filarmónica de Bogotá, Symphonic Orchestra of the Central University, Symphonic Orchestra of the University of Delawere and Symphonic Band of FEMUSC 2015.
Since 2020 I am an artist of Exclusive Ears and Cumbia Percussion brands.
